Trappeys Red Devil Cayenne Pepper Sauce is one of the oldest hot sauce makers in the United States, headquartered in New Iberia, Louisiana. The company was founded in 1898, by Louisiana entrepreneur B.F. Trappey, a former McIlhenny Company (Tabasco) employee, when he grew his first batch of Tabasco hot chili peppers from Avery Island seed.
